Yumeiho® Therapy – 1st and 2nd dan course

Are you interested in learning Yumeiho massage with a small group of dedicated individuals? If you have a group of people (2 to 4) and are looking for a qualified Yumeiho teacher to guide your training, get in touch with me!

While I don’t organize regular Yumeiho Therapy courses, I am happy to accept invitations to teach the course to small groups.

In this course, you will learn the basic techniques and principles of Yumeiho massage, including:

  • The basic massage sequence or KATA
  • How to identify the present needs or painful points of someone
  • How to interpret body language and its signs
  • How to conduct a postural assessment on a patient

Upon successful completion of the course, you will earn the 1st and 2nd dan Yumeiho therapy skills. Once you have gained enough practice and experience, the 2nd dan diploma gives you the right to charge for your services as a Yumeiho Trainee Massage Therapist.

The course will take place in person over 12 training days, and the location will be agreed upon by the group.

The course fee for the 1st and 2nd dan in one course is £1200. Each level requires 60 hours of training practice, and after successfully completing the course, you may take an exam to receive a Japanese diploma.

The diploma fee is $100 (about £80) for the 1st dan and $200 (about £160) for the 2nd dan. All diplomas are issued by the Japanese Yumeiho Centre. Please note that any other expenses, such as room hiring and travel expenses, will come on top of the course fee and are not included in the price!

You must have an Anatomy and Physiology for Complementary Therapies Level 3 (or equivalent) certificate or proof of an ongoing course to enrol.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn Yumeiho massage!
